The United States of America has condemned the unjustified “use of force” in Hong Kong and urges Beijing to protect freedom of Hong Kong, informed a senior official in the US President Donald Trump’s administration on Sunday, as the aggressive protesters fighting hard with Hong Kong Police, who had trapped themselves inside a major university. 

The senior official was quoted saying, “We condemn the unjustified use of force and urge all sides to refrain from violence and engage in constructive dialogue.”

He continued, “As the President has said, the United States expects Beijing to honor its commitments under the Sino-British Joint Declaration and to protect Hong Kong’s freedom, legal system and democratic way of life.”

Hong Kong Police has blocked the Polytechnic University and protestors streamed through a tourist district, after around two straight days of protests, which have raised fears of a bloody showdown.
