On Wednesday, the United States President Donald Trump has described the first impeachment proceedings against him as “witch hunt” and claims that he was “too busy” to watch it.
President Trump told sources in a joint media, “It’s a witch hunt. It’s a hoax. I’m too busy to watch it. So, I’m sure I’ll get a report.” He was present at the White House to attend Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The United States House of Representatives is controlled by the opposition, Democratic Party.
On Wednesday, it has introduced the first public hearing of impeachment probe on Donald Trump, with two State Department Officials asserts before a key committee over charges that President Trump has used his office to create pressure on Ukraine Officials for his political gain.
Replying to questions, Donald Trump has said that he didn’t watch the impeachment probe against him and accused the Democrats of using “television lawyers” to conduct their interrogations.
“I have not been briefed, no. There’s nothing there. I see they’re using lawyers that are television lawyers. They took some guys off the television. I’m not surprised to see it because Schiff can’t do his own questions,” added President Trump in response to a question.
